Nancy O'Dell's initial job in the broadcast industry was as a reporter/anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She worked later as morning news anchor at WCBD TV and acted as an investigative reporter. When she was in Charleston O'Dell's stories about the relaxed approach police take to DUI cases led to an State Law Enforcement Division investigation which resulted in the states authorities again releasing an even more strict directive on the cases. Ms. O'Dell received her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell, after her stint working in Charleston working as a journalist and co-anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving into Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent on weekends. She's reported on events such like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys and The Golden Globe Awards as in addition to hosting a series of pre-show arrivals to The Emmys and the Golden Globes. She also co-hosted for the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
